Hi, Pat. I am following and quilting the Christmas All Year Round quilt with you. Love it. So on the border HST's that finish at 3"...does that mean they are 3 1/2" and sew in at 3" after quarter inch seams, or does it mean they are squared up to 3"? Help!!! I am confused and Wendy doesn't really provide much information.

When i saw the flag fabric you showed for the backing, i thought that was perfect. Then i saw the NY beauties in the blues/red/white and thought that was perfect too. Can’t you use that fabric to frame the flag and put both on the back? Thanks for always, inspiring, encouraging & showing us what you do on a daily basis. Hugs,😊

I don't have a car quilt but I made a Racing T-Shirt Quilt for my daughter-in-law a few years ago. She and her Dad were racing fans, and sometimes he raced on the smaller local tracks. Unfortunately he passed from an aggressive cancer in his 50's. She helped me make the quilt for her Mom, and we still have enough t-shirts to make her a quilt also. The Tula iron is so cute!

Pat, thanks for showing us the wonders of using the black light with white on white fabric (which is a favorite of mine.) Using your link, I have it ordered along with a 3-yard quilt book! I am excited about the Simply Jelly Ross sampler sew-along--I bought my book when you first mentioned it. Now to sort through my many, many jelly rolls to decide what to use.
